- Waves...Oh crap! Who forgot the waves?!
Deja vu anyone? Has it really been an entire year since we surfed epic waves while we watched helplessly as the state burned? Is it wrong that 24 hour a day southland fire news coverage sends me to the buoy reports like some Pavlovian test subject? Only this time there are no waves to be had. Oh well, that just gives me plenty of time to rake the entire friggin neighborhood's leaves that inevitably and inexplicably end up in MY backyard. Awesome.
