Good Times were shared by Great Friends, and we really appreciated the invite. It was yet another experience afforded to us by good friends, that we would never get the opportunity to do ourselves.

Sailing to Catalina
We got back from Yosemite, rested a few days, celebrated the fourth of July, and shipped off Monday with Mark and Kim for Catalina for a couple of days. Mark and Kim were sailing there for a week on one of his sailing clubs really nice 42' motor sail. We sailed out with them and came back on the Catalina Flyer. We had a really good time. Meghan had never slept on a boat before and was really stoked. We sailed into Two Harbors after 9 hours of sailing. The Flyer made it across in 1 hour. Let's just say, I am a big fan of combustion engines for 26 mile jaunts West. Sailing is really fun, if I don't have to be anywhere anytime soon, or I was cruising long distances, we just didn't have enough time to devote to the trip.

At least you didn't have a sea lion taking your bate off your hook -- remember? Also, Sean remember the tuna we had to fight together to get into the boat on that fishing trip Hodges booked for the employees? Now that was a big fish!!
To this day, I still tell that fish story. Still the biggest fish I have/helped catch.
