Nothing Floats like a fat guy in a 4/3

Has this been the worst winter you can remember, or what? Great conditions..no waves. Good swell..Rainstorm. Swell and decent weather..gigantic high tide. I surfed Saturday in the perfect, warm sunshine on the sheet glass ocean at noon, albeit in meager waves breaking close to the shore, and all I could think about was that I would be having soooo much more fun bodysurfing today. Have you ever not had fun bodysurfing? I just packed the fins permanently in the truck. I gotta get in shape for spring and summer somehow. Paddling around in 1-2 foot dribblers is not gonna do it. And hey, it's always overhead, right? Although, there is that constant cold water flush..brrrrrrrrrrrrr.
